All those scraps…

I have 6 clear boxes filled with kimono scraps organised by colour.

They sit in my sewing room begging to be emptied so I decided to make some QAYG blocks, a mindless but satisfying process while listening to an audiobook.

I kept going until I had 12 of each colour then laid then out on my bed, planning what size quilt to make.

A photo taken from the other way (horizontal) surprised me – the rainbow effect more obvious.

Now I just have to decide how many more blocks to make and the size of the finished quilt. I have so many scraps I could probably make a double, a king and a super king!
