Inspired by my niece’s pregnancy I decided to make a baby quilt – it ended up to big for a crib but would make a great toddler quilt, play mat or throw.

And not wanting to opt for pink or blue I made both, one with a pink diagonal, the other blue.

My next one is going to be green or lilac. Or both.

(The quilts are made from cotton with bamboo wadding – certainly never going to use silk kimono fabric for a quilt that may need frequent washing!)
